In September 2016 I was invited to meet Erika Amoore and David Elmsly for coffee. One year later the first SYNTHONY show hit the stage with the Auckland Symphony Orchestra at the Auckland Town Hall. Since then the show has continued to evolve. With Duco Events at the helm the show has toured extensively in Australia, with orchestras including the Metropolitan Orchestra (Sydney), Perth Symphony Orchestra and Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, and in New Zealand, with orchestras including the Auckland Philharmonia, Orchestra Wellington and Christchurch Symphony Orchestra. SYNTHONY also recently performed in Singapore with the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra on the world’s largest floating stadium in Marina Bay. I’m proud to have written all of the 180+ arrangements in the SYNTHONY catalogue, and I continue to prepare and distribute the sheet music for every show. I also work as the show director, ensuring the music and orchestral worlds connect with the production and that the SYNTHONY vision is delivered smoothly.
